Mr.D.Sasikumar\n\t\t    Government Advocate\n\n\t\t\t\t\t  * * * *\t\n\n:ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>\tThis Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for the<br \/>\nwilful disobedience of the order of this Court in W.P.No.6299 of 2008 dated<br \/>\n22.07.2008.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and also<br \/>\nMr.D.Sasikumar, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondent.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t3. At the time of hearing, the learned Government Advocate filed a copy of<br \/>\nthe order passed by the District Collector, Trichy and stated that the order has<br \/>\nbeen complied with.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that so far the<br \/>\nDistrict Collector, Trichy has not initiated penal action as against the<br \/>\npetitioner.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t5. The learned Government Advocate would correctly and convincingly submit<br \/>\nthat on considering the representation, the District Collector has chosen to<br \/>\nseek the advice of the State Election Commission for initiating action.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t6. Hence, in these circumstances, this Court cannot arrive at a conclusion<br \/>\nthat the District Collector, Trichy has committed contempt.
