Ramachandran Nair, J.\n                   - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -\n                      W.P.(C) No. 18147 of 2009-K\n                   - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -\n                Dated this the 30th day of June, 2009.\n\n                                 JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>      The petitioner was appointed as a Higher Secondary School Teacher<\/p>\n<p>(Junior) in Computer Science in a leave vacancy in Sacred Heart Convent<\/p>\n<p>Higher Secondary School, Thrissur from 16.6.2004 to 27.2.2005. This was<\/p>\n<p>duly approved by the third respondent which is evidenced by Exts.P1 and<\/p>\n<p>P2. Again, the petitioner was appointed in another leave vacancy from<\/p>\n<p>21.6.2007 to 20.6.2012, but the approval is restricted for the period from<\/p>\n<p>23.7.2007 to 31.3.2012 which is clear from Exts.P3 and P4.              Learned<\/p>\n<p>counsel for the petitioner submits that going by the Government Order,<\/p>\n<p>Ext.P5, the petitioner will be paid salary only on daily wage basis. This<\/p>\n<p>cannot be done in the light of the Division Bench decision of this court in<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/doc\/1847616\/\">Unni Narayanan v. State of Kerala<\/a> (2009 2 KLT 604), produced as<\/p>\n<p>Ext.P6 herein. The petitioner has therefore filed Ext.P7 appeal before the<\/p>\n<p>second respondent. Learned counsel for the petitioner prayed that there may<\/p>\n<p>be a direction to the second respondent to take a decision on Ext.P7 within a<\/p>\n<p>time frame.\n<\/p>\n<p>      The writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">wpc 18147\/2009                    2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>take a decision on Ext.P7 after hearing the petitioner and the Manager,<\/p>\n<p>within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this<\/p>\n<p>judgment.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                 (T.R.
