Justice P.N.RAVINDRAN\n\n Dated :03\/01\/2011\n\n O R D E R\n                        P.N.RAVINDRAN, J.\n              -----------------------------------------\n                   W.P(C).No.38638 of 2010\n              -----------------------------------------\n            Dated this the 3rd day of January, 2011\n\n                            JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>      The petitioners, who are former employees of the Kerala<\/p>\n<p>State Electricity Board, hereinafter referred to as the Board for<\/p>\n<p>short, have filed this writ petition seeking expeditious payment of<\/p>\n<p>the amount of gratuity determined by the Controlling Authority in<\/p>\n<p>Ext.P1 series of orders, which have become final following the<\/p>\n<p>dismissal of the appeals filed by the Board before the appellate<\/p>\n<p>authority constituted under the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972.<\/p>\n<p>When the writ petition came up for hearing today the learned<\/p>\n<p>standing counsel appearing for the Board submitted that the<\/p>\n<p>entire amount of gratuity has been deposited with the first<\/p>\n<p>respondent and that the money has been transferred to the<\/p>\n<p>second respondent.
