NO. 22226 OF 2008 U\n                  --------------------------------------\n                  Dated this the 29th July, 2008\n\n                            JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>      Petitioner seeks a direction to dispose of Exts.P3 and P6<\/p>\n<p>Appeals and to stay further proceedings pursuant to Exts.P2 and<\/p>\n<p>P5 assessment orders till the disposal of the Appeals. Learned<\/p>\n<p>Government Pleader got instructions and submits that the total<\/p>\n<p>amount due is Rs.16,30,133\/= with interest. The case of the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner, of course, is that it is desirous of settling the matter at<\/p>\n<p>the earliest, as there is a move to re-constitute the Board of<\/p>\n<p>Directors with the prior sanction of the Excise Commissioner,<\/p>\n<p>for transfer of the FL-3 licence in the name of the new<\/p>\n<p>Managing Director for which sales tax clearance is a must.<\/p>\n<p>Having heard the parties, the Writ Petition is disposed of as<\/p>\n<p>follows:\n<\/p>\n<p>      There will be a direction to the first respondent to consider<\/p>\n<p>and take a decision on Ext.P7 in accordance with law within a<\/p>\n<p>period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this<\/p>\n<p>Judgment.\n<\/p>\n<p>                                              Sd\/=<br \/>\n                                          K.
