NO. 28844 OF 2003\n\n                              ---------------------\n\n\n             Dated this the 15th day of December, 2006\n\n\n                                J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>       Petitioners   contend   that   they   are   entitled   to   continue   in   service<\/p>\n<p>beyond 50 years of age.   Learned Central Government Standing Counsel<\/p>\n<p>on   instruction   submits   that,   Anganwadi   workers   are   engaged   on<\/p>\n<p>honorarium   basis   and   hence   they   cannot   be   equated   with   the   regular<\/p>\n<p>employees   and   the   service   rules   applicable   to   Central   Government<\/p>\n<p>Employees are not applicable to the Anganwadi workers.   Therefore, the<\/p>\n<p>stipulation of age limit as 58 cannot be said to be unreasonable.
