He   has<\/p>\n<p>successfully   undergone   the   Forest   Guard   Training   as   certified   by   the<\/p>\n<p>concerned  Forest  Range  Officer   on  1.7.2006.   It  is  contended  that he<\/p>\n<p>has got a preferential right to be considered for promotion to the post<\/p>\n<p>of     Forester   in   terms   of   the   special   rules.   Similarly   situated   persons<\/p>\n<p>had   approached   this   Court   seeking   identical   reliefs   and   the   original<\/p>\n<p>petition filed by one  such Forest Guard was  disposed of as per Ext.P6<\/p>\n<p>judgment   was     The   petitioner   has   filed   representation   before   the<\/p>\n<p>second   respondent   to   promote   him   to   the   post   of   Forester   having<\/p>\n<p>regard   to   the   qualifications   he   possessed   and   the   preferential   right<\/p>\n<p>guaranteed by the special rules.\n<\/p>\n<p>       2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned<\/p>\n<p>Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3.\n<\/p>\n<p>       3.   In   the   circumstances,   the   second   respondent   is   directed   to<\/p>\n<p>consider Ext.P7 on merits and pass appropriate orders taking note of<\/p>\n<p>Ext.P6 judgment as also the orders passed by the appointing  authority<\/p>\n<p>vide Exts.P8(a) and P8(b).
