Justice K.M.JOSEPH\n\n Dated :13\/06\/2008\n\n O R D E R\n                                   K.M.JOSEPH, J.\n                        - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -\n                            WP.(C) No. 16510 of 2008\n                        - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -\n                       Dated this the 13th day of June, 2008\n\n                                      JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>             Petitioner had approached this court earlier and obtained Ext.P3<\/p>\n<p>judgment, therein, in regard to the dispute the court directed the petitioner to<\/p>\n<p>pay the principal amount within three weeks and directed the respondents to<\/p>\n<p>take up the representation and to give any benefit that will be extended to<\/p>\n<p>him and further time to pay off the further outstanding. The complaint of<\/p>\n<p>the petitioner is that subsequent to that petitioner deposited the entire<\/p>\n<p>principal amount as per Ext.P4 chelan and now the respondents have not<\/p>\n<p>considered the application and has removed the apparatus for providing<\/p>\n<p>electricity connection, not heeding to the petitioner&#8217;s protest.<\/p>\n<p>             2.   I heard learned counsel for the respondents.               He, on<\/p>\n<p>instructions, submits that the Board is prepared to extend to the petitioner<\/p>\n<p>the benefit of one time settlement scheme evolved by the Board, which shall<\/p>\n<p>include reduction of rate of interest, if the petitioner is prepared to pay the<\/p>\n<p>money in terms of the Scheme and what is more connection will be restored<\/p>\n<p>to the petitioner.   He also submits that the petitioner has to apply for the<\/p>\n<p>benefit of one time settlement scheme.\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">WPC.16510\/2008.                        2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>             Recording the submission of the learned counsel for the<\/p>\n<p>respondents, the writ petition is disposed of directing that if the petitioner<\/p>\n<p>applies for the benefit of one time settlement scheme and remits the entire<\/p>\n<p>amount in terms of the scheme within a period of two weeks from the date<\/p>\n<p>of receipt of a copy of this judgment, the connection standing in the name of<\/p>\n<p>the petitioner, which has been disconnected, will be restored immediately.<\/p>\n<p>Petitioner will pay the reconnection charges also before reconnection is<\/p>\n<p>restored.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                                   (K.M.
