Justice R.BASANT\n\n Dated :21\/08\/2007\n\n O R D E R\n                           R.BASANT, J\n                 = = = = = = = = = = = = =\n                      B.A.No.5084 of 2007\n                 = = = = = = = = = = = = = =\n\n              Dated this the 21st day of August, 2007\n\n                              ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>      Application for regular bail. Petitioner is the first accused.<\/p>\n<p>Crime has been registered under the provisions of Wild life<\/p>\n<p>(Protection) Act. The crux of the allegations is that the petitioner<\/p>\n<p>along with co-accused was found to be in possession of tiger skin<\/p>\n<p>in violation of the provisions of the Wild life (Protection) Act.<\/p>\n<p>The petitioner was arrested on 3.08.07. He continues in custody<\/p>\n<p>from that date. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits<\/p>\n<p>that the petitioner is absolutely innocent.    Even accepting the<\/p>\n<p>allegations raised by the prosecution, what was seized was not<\/p>\n<p>genuine tiger skin at all. It was the skin of some other animal<\/p>\n<p>painted fraudulently to make it appear to be the skin of a tiger.<\/p>\n<p>      2. The learned counsel for the petitioner prays, the learned<\/p>\n<p>Public Prosecutor   does not oppose the said prayer and I am<\/p>\n<p>satisfied that the petitioner can now be enlarged on bail subject<\/p>\n<p>to appropriate conditions.\n<\/p>\n<p>      3.   In the result, this petition is allowed. The petitioner<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">B.A.No.5084 of 2007               2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>shall be released on bail on the following terms and conditions:<\/p>\n<p>      i)   The petitioner shall execute a bond for Rs.50,000\/-<\/p>\n<p>(Rupees fifty thousand only) with two solvent sureties each for<\/p>\n<p>the like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate.<\/p>\n<p>      iii) The petitioner shall make himself available for<\/p>\n<p>interrogation before the Investigating Officer between 10 a.m and<\/p>\n<p>12 noon on all Mondays and Fridays, for a period of three<\/p>\n<p>months.
