Justice T.R.RAMACHANDRAN NAIR\n\n Dated :24\/03\/2010\n\n O R D E R\n                T.R.RAMACHANDRAN NAIR, J.\n               --------------------------------------------\n                     W.P.(C)No.9906 of 2010\n               ---------------------------------------------\n            Dated this the 24th day of March, 2010\n\n                             JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>      The petitioner is the owner in possession of 8 cents of land<\/p>\n<p>comprised in Survey No.149\/9 in Block No.7 of Ayamanam<\/p>\n<p>Village in Kottayam District. The property was originally held on<\/p>\n<p>lease by petitioner&#8217;s father, late Ayyappa Menon from its then<\/p>\n<p>title owner, Late Gopala Pillai. On the date of the Petitioner&#8217;s<\/p>\n<p>father, late Ayyappa Menon, the said landed property devolved<\/p>\n<p>on petitioner and his mother, late Saraswathi Amma. Title owner<\/p>\n<p>of the land, namely, Gopala Pillai also died on 25\/10\/1975.<\/p>\n<p>      2.   The claim of the petitioner and her mother was<\/p>\n<p>allowed in their favour as per Ext.P1 order by the Land Tribunal.<\/p>\n<p>The same will be accepted by the Civil Court as per Ext.P2. As<\/p>\n<p>against the Ext.P2 judgment, an appeal as A.S.No.23 of 1991 was<\/p>\n<p>filed against the same. The decree of the Trial Court is also<\/p>\n<p>confirmed.\n<\/p>\n<p>      3.   Thereafter, the matter between the parties have been<\/p>\n<p>settled by the Lok Adalath as per Ext.P5 by the petitioner paying<\/p>\n<p>an amount of Rupees one lakh. The petitioner has complied with<\/p>\n<p>the same and now what is sought for is for mutation under the<\/p>\n<p>W.P.(C)No.9906 of 2010<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                                 2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Transfer of Registry Rules. Ext.P7 is the copy of the application.<\/p>\n<p>It is pointed out that Ext.P7 even though was forwarded by the<\/p>\n<p>first respondent to the second respondent for report, and even<\/p>\n<p>after the receipt of report the application is still pending as file<\/p>\n<p>G2-9273\/09 in the first respondent&#8217;s office. The petitioner seeks<\/p>\n<p>for a direction to the first respondent to take a decision on the<\/p>\n<p>same.\n<\/p>\n<p>      4.   There will be a direction to the first respondent to<\/p>\n<p>take a decision on Ext.P7 application for transfer of registry<\/p>\n<p>pending as File No.G2-9273\/09 after notice to the petitioner and<\/p>\n<p>any other necessary parties within a period of two months from<\/p>\n<p>the receipt of a copy of this judgment.\n<\/p>\n<p>      The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
