KURIAKOSE, J.\n                          -------------------------------\n                       W.P.(C) No. 623 OF 2008\n                        -----------------------------------\n                  Dated this the 4th day of January, 2008\n\n                                 JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>      I do not propose to go into the merits of the grounds raised.<\/p>\n<p>Contention of the petitioner is that the exorbitant hike which has been<\/p>\n<p>made by the Panchayat on the property tax payable was totally<\/p>\n<p>unjustified.   Petitioner has already preferred Ext.P9 before the<\/p>\n<p>Panchayat Committee. The concerned committee will take up Ext.P9,<\/p>\n<p>hear the petitioner and take a decision on Ext.P9 in accordance with<\/p>\n<p>law, at the earliest and at any rate, within six weeks of receiving copy of<\/p>\n<p>this judgment. Till such time as the appeal is disposed of, Ext.P8 will<\/p>\n<p>not be enforced.<\/p>\n<pre>\n\n\n\n                                          PIUS C.
