Justice ANTONY DOMINIC\n\n Dated :02\/09\/2008\n\n O R D E R\n                     ANTONY DOMINIC, J\n\n    -----------------------------------------------------------\n                    W.P.(C).No.26342\/2008\n    -----------------------------------------------------------\n         Dated this the 2nd day of September, 2008\n\n\n                           JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>     What is actually sought for by the petitioner is<\/p>\n<p>implementation of Ext.P1.\n<\/p>\n<p>     2. By this judgment, the appeal filed by the petitioner<\/p>\n<p>before the STAT was allowed and the RTA was directed to<\/p>\n<p>reconsider the application of the petitioner for a regular<\/p>\n<p>permit, in case the petitioner files a modified proposal<\/p>\n<p>avoiding the objectionable overlapping on the notified route,<\/p>\n<p>within a period of one month from the date of the judgment.<\/p>\n<p>The date of the judgment being 29.2.2008, the petitioner<\/p>\n<p>submits that Ext.P2 modified proposal was submitted on<\/p>\n<p>17.3.2008. According to the petitioner though this modified<\/p>\n<p>proposal has been made, the RTA has not so far considered<\/p>\n<p>Ext.P2 and pass orders thereon. It is at this stage the writ<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">                        2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>petition has been filed.\n<\/p>\n<p>     3. In the background as stated above, I have no reason<\/p>\n<p>to deny the prayer made by the petitioner for directing the<\/p>\n<p>first respondent to take up, consider and pass orders on<\/p>\n<p>Ext.P2, if the same is pending.\n<\/p>\n<p>     Therefore the writ petition is disposed of directing that<\/p>\n<p>the first respondent shall take up, consider and pass orders<\/p>\n<p>on Ext.P2 as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within<\/p>\n<p>8 weeks from the date of production of a copy of the<\/p>\n<p>judgment.
