In<br \/>\nletter dated 26\/02\/2011 it is mentioned that CAT-II is required to be<br \/>\ntaken for one year and, if it is taken regularly there has to be an<br \/>\nimprovement in condition of the patient.  It is further mentioned<br \/>\nthat if the medicines are not taken regularly then medicine loses<br \/>\nits effectiveness and the patient may go into MDR (Multi Drug<br \/>\nResistance) and he may then spread the infection to other persons<br \/>\nalso.\n<\/p>\n<p>3.\t\tThe<br \/>\ncertificate dated 25\/02\/2011 reads as under:\n<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;&#8230; He is known case of<br \/>\npulmonary tuberculosis with Rt. Sided plural effusion.  He was<br \/>\nadmitted at TBCD dept. Civil Hospital Ahmedabad from 15\/09\/2010 to<br \/>\n18\/09\/2010 and CAT-II treatment was started under RNTCP (Revised<br \/>\nNational Tuberculosis control programme).  At present he is<br \/>\ntaking all the necessary medicines under the medical officer as well<br \/>\nas full time physicians and RNTCP supervisor.  He is also<br \/>\nprovided extra medical diet by jail authority.\n<\/p>\n<p>Patient has gained weight from<br \/>\n12\/01\/2011 to 25\/02\/2011, 38 kg to 44 kg which suggests patient is<br \/>\nimproved due to CAT &#8211; II treatment&#8230;.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>4.\t\tIn<br \/>\nlight of the aforesaid contents of the communication dated 26\/02\/2011<br \/>\nand the certificate dated 25\/02\/2011, the Court is of the opinion<br \/>\nthat grant of temporary bail at this stage to the applicant &#8211;<br \/>\nconvict will not be in his interest and therefore the application is<br \/>\nrejected.\n<\/p>\n<p>5.\t\tThe<br \/>\nliberty is reserved in favour of the applicant &#8211;
