RAMKUMAR, J.\n                           -----------------------------------\n                      Bail Application No.1973 of 2008\n                           ----------------------------------\n                    Dated this the 23rd day of May 2008\n\n                                     O R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>       Petitioners who are accused Nos.1 and 2 in Crime No.849\/2007 of<\/p>\n<p>Pathanamthitta Police Station for an offence punishable under Secs.420<\/p>\n<p>and 34 I.P.C., seek anticipatory bail.\n<\/p>\n<p>       2.    The learned Public Prosecutor opposed the application.<\/p>\n<p>       3.     Anticipatory bail cannot be granted in a case of this nature.<\/p>\n<p>But at the same time, I am inclined to permit the petitioners to surrender<\/p>\n<p>before the Investigating Officer for the purpose of interrogation and then to<\/p>\n<p>have their application for bail considered by the Magistrate          having<\/p>\n<p>jurisdiction.
