He requested to check whether marks awarded to him\nas per reply furnished by him during the examination.\n\nOrder of the First Appellate Authority:\nFAA stated that request of the Appellant for showing the Answer Sheet cannot be acceded to as\nper the policy of the University. However, Controller of Examinations has been directed to give\npatent hearing to the Appellant and the Appellant was at liberty to file rechecking of the paper as\nper procedure of the Examination division.\n\nGrounds for Second Appeal:\nResult of re-checking is still awaited.\n Relevant Facts<\/pre>\n<p> emerging during Hearing:\n<\/p>\n<p>The following were present:\n<\/p>\n<p>Appellant: Mr. Harsheet Pal Singh Ratra;\n<\/p>\n<p>Respondent: Mr. Ajay Kumar, Section officer on behalf of Mr. Pankaj Aggarwal, PIO&amp;ADRP;\n<\/p>\n<p>       The appellant wants a photocopy of his answersheet. This is covered by a Full Bench<br \/>\nDecision of the Commission in Appeal Nos. CIC\/WB\/A\/2006\/00469; &amp; 00394 on 23 April 2007<br \/>\nin which it has been decided that Universities and Examining bodies of this nature need not<br \/>\nprovide photocopies of the answersheets.\n<\/p>\n<p>Therefore this bench is not able to order that the answersheets be disclosed. Before parting with<br \/>\nthe matter the Commission notes that the FAA Mr. B.P.Joshi and Registrar of the University had<br \/>\nsuggested that the appellant file for rechecking of the paper. The appellant claims he had paid<br \/>\nRs300\/- for rechecking of the paper but no rechecking has been done so far.
