That on 24-2-06, when the claimant was crossing
\nthe road, a car bearing registration No.KA–01–Z–4576<\/p>\n
came in a rash and negligent manner and ‘ri’a\u00bbshed<\/p>\n
against him. As a result, the claimant ;w””‘–s1’rst_,aVined<\/p>\n
injuries. Hence, he \ufb01led a claim  the<\/p>\n
MACT, Hassan, seeking compeinsationi <\/p>\n
The Tribunal by impugned..__judgrnent  <\/p>\n
awarded compensation of   interest at
\n80\/3 p.a. Aggrievedv  _th._e  __of compensation
\nawarded by the Tribunal   is in appeal<\/p>\n
seeking  _of_Vcon_apje.nsation.\n<\/p>\n

accident;’ neg1,Vi_dgednce”~a:n4d~~”liability of the insurer of the<\/p>\n
offending’4″\\\u00a71\/iicie, only point that remains for my<\/p>\n
 ” consi\u00e9ierxatiori inmthe appeal is:<\/p>\n

Vc.on;ip’ensation awarded by the Tribunal is<\/p>\n
“just and proper or does it call for

  After hearing the learned Counsel for the parties<\/p>\n
it and perusing the award of the Tribunal, 1 sun of the<\/p>\n
\ufb01r<\/p>\n
View that the compensation awarded by the Tribunal is
\nnot just and proper. it is on the lower side and therefore<\/p>\n
it is deserved to be enhanced.\n<\/p>\n
7. As per injury certificate — Ex.P.6,  <\/p>\n
sustained the following injuries’  <\/p>\n
1) Deep lacerated woun’d__ the  forehead?” <\/p>\n
ii) Deep laceration’  the left. .sid.ej’vofl’the”back. if ‘<\/p>\n
iii) Multiple. Iac’erat1’oni.o’n’  kr1ee’j0’int.<\/p>\n

 lConjsi.dVering the nature of injuries, Rs.10,000\/–<\/p>\n
awardedlby the Tribunal towards pain and suffering is<\/p>\n

l\u00e9another Rs.i0,000\/– and 1 award Rs.20,000\/– under<\/p>\n

and he was trieated as inpatient for three days at St.<\/p>\n
Johns Medical College Hospital, Bangalore.<\/p>\n
Considering the same, Rs.9.500\/– <\/p>\n
Tribunal towards medical and inoidental–.ex:’p.etises_ is one <\/p>\n
the lower side and I award <\/p>\n
head.\n<\/p>\n

\nhis   period leaving their

3) Towards loss of income of
