Betal, paddy, fishes and vegetables were destroyed.\u00a0 Thousands of mudbuild cottages collapsed.\u00a0 About 7 people died and many cattle also perished.\u00a0The drainage system was not clear.\u00a0It took more than a month to clear the water.\u00a0 The West Bengal Government did their best to provide relief to the people.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The drainage system of rivers Keleghai, Bagai, Kapaleswari requires desiltation. The Barachouks, Dubara and Mogra-Baisn work should be completed immediately.\u00a0 The work of Bhagwapur-Naudigram master place is also unfinisted, it must be completed early. H.T.C. and O.C.C. canals be modernized. The Union Government should assist financially, so that the irrigation schemes could be completed.\u00a0I draw the attention of Minister of Water Resources in this respect.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0  <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lok Sabha Debates Regarding Need To Provide Financial Assistance To The Government Of &#8230;
