Darji on behalf of petitioner and<br \/>\n\tlearned A.G.P. Mr.Amit Patel appearing on behalf of<br \/>\n\trespondent-State.\n<\/p>\n<p>Father<br \/>\n\tof petitioner No.1 deceased Bavvdinbhai Jeevabhai Tank was granted<br \/>\n\tHawkers License to sell Kerosene and it was renewed from time to<br \/>\n\ttime and lastly it was renewed for a period from 01.01.2006 to<br \/>\n\t31.12.2010. Mother of the petitioner No.2 deceased Kherruniessa<br \/>\n\tHabibali Govani was granted Hawkers License to sell Kerosene and it<br \/>\n\twas renewed from time to time and lastly it was renewed for a period<br \/>\n\tfrom 01.01.2004 to 31.12.2008. Father of petitioner No.1 was expired<br \/>\n\ton 10.12.2006 and mother of petitioner No.2 was expired on<br \/>\n\t29.10.2007. Therefore, representation was made by petitioners to<br \/>\n\trespondent-Authority to grant license to sell kerosene as their<br \/>\n\tfather and mother were holding the license.\n<\/p>\n<p>State<br \/>\n\tgovernment has not granted them Hawker&#8217;s license because such policy<br \/>\n\thas been discontinued by resolution dated 13.04.2006. Therefore,<br \/>\n\trequest had been rejected by respondent-Authority.<br \/>\n\tRespondent-District Supply Officer, Bhavnagar has informed to<br \/>\n\tMamlatdar, Palitana that the State Government has stopped giving<br \/>\n\tHawker&#8217;s license to the families of license holder by its resolution<br \/>\n\tdated 13.04.2006 and therefore request of the petitioner is<br \/>\n\trejected.\n<\/p>\n<p>Let<br \/>\n\tpetitioners may approach respondent-Authority for claiming Hawker&#8217;s<br \/>\n\tlicense or any other license for selling kerosene not on inheritance<br \/>\n\tright from their father and mother.
