RAMACHANDRA MENON, JJ.\n             ------------------------------------------\n                 Writ Appeal No.1298 OF 2008\n             ------------------------------------------\n           Dated this the 21st day of January, 2009.\n\n\n                          J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>Kurian Joseph, J.\n<\/p>\n<p>      Heard Sri.D.Sreekumar, learned counsel appearing for the<\/p>\n<p>appellant-first petitioner and learned Additional Solicitor General<\/p>\n<p>appearing for respondents 1 and 2 and also learned Senior<\/p>\n<p>Government Pleader appearing for respondents 3 and 4.<\/p>\n<p>      2. This appeal is filed aggrieved by the judgment dated<\/p>\n<p>10.03.2008 in W.P.(C) No.7964\/2008. The issue pertains to the<\/p>\n<p>claim made by the writ petitioner for placement in the scale of<\/p>\n<p>pay of Rs.14,940\/- on completion of five years as Selection Grade<\/p>\n<p>Lecturer. We have already held in Writ Appeal No.1394\/2008<\/p>\n<p>and connected cases that Selection Grade Lecturers will be<\/p>\n<p>entitled to the said scale on completion of five years as Selection<\/p>\n<p>Grade Lecturer after 01.01.1996.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">W.A.No.1298\/08                2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>      Therefore, we set aside the judgment under appeal and<\/p>\n<p>allow the writ petition in terms of the judgment referred to<\/p>\n<p>above.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                   KURIAN JOSEPH<br \/>\n                                        JUDGE<\/p>\n<p>                               P.R.
