Verma\n<\/pre>\n<p>                                            Public Information Officer &amp; Joint Registrar (P)<br \/>\n                                            C\/O Vice Chancellor,<br \/>\n                                            Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University<br \/>\n                                            Kashmere Gate, Delhi &#8211; 110403.\n<\/p>\n<pre>RTI application filed on             :      05\/01\/2010\nPIO replied                          :      Not replied\nFirst appeal filed on                :      Not appealed.\nComplaint received on                :      08\/02\/2010\nComplaint notice sent on             :      12\/02\/2010\n\nInformation Sought:\n<\/pre>\n<p>The Complainant had sought information regarding the details of affiliated institutions to Guru<br \/>\nGobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIU) namely Bharti Vidyapeeth College of<br \/>\nEngineering (BVPE).\n<\/p>\n<p>Reply of PIO:\n<\/p>\n<p>Not replied.\n<\/p>\n<p>Ground for First Appeal:\n<\/p>\n<p>Not appealed.\n<\/p>\n<p>Ground of the Second Appeal:\n<\/p>\n<p>No information received from the PIO.\n<\/p>\n<p>Submission received from the PIO, GGSIU:\n<\/p>\n<p>(After the complaint notice sent on 12\/02\/2010)<br \/>\nThe PIO &amp; Joint Registrar (Plg &amp; Policy) vide his letter dated 18\/03\/2010 informed the<br \/>\nCommission that the reply to the RTI Application dated 05\/01\/2010 was sent to the<br \/>\nComplainant vide letter dated 25\/02\/2010.\n<\/p>\n<p>The information received for points 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7 from Affiliation Branch of the University<br \/>\nvide Diary no. 142\/JR.Aff dated 25.02.10, for point 5 from Academic Branch vide Diary No.<br \/>\n6298\/Acad\/10 dated 17.2.10 had been enclosed in the reply.<br \/>\n The point wise reply was as follows:\n<\/p>\n<p>Point 1:Applicant did not ask any information in this query.<br \/>\nPoint 2: The printout attached with the RTI is not from the University Website. Reference may<br \/>\nbe had to www.ipu.ac.in for the same.\n<\/p>\n<p>Point 3:Refer the university website.\n<\/p>\n<p>Point 4:The applicant may please clarify for the information sought in respect of sponsoring<br \/>\nbodies.\n<\/p>\n<p>Point 5: Does not pertain to Affiliation Branch.<br \/>\nPoint 6: The information regarding providing sponsorship for allotment of institutional land to<br \/>\nthe society may be asked from DDA or the Institute\/Govt. of NCT of Delhi.<br \/>\nPoint 7:GGSIU has granted provisional affiliation to Bharti Vidyapeeth College of Engineering<br \/>\nfor conducting B.Tech and Bharti Vidyapeeth Institute of Computer Applications and<br \/>\nManagement for conducting MCA programme for the Academic Session 2009-10.\n<\/p>\n<p>Submission received from Principal, BVPE dated 24.02.2010:\n<\/p>\n<p>   1. DDA allotted two different plots\/land to Bharti Vidyapeeth at A-4, Paschim Vihar,<br \/>\n      Rohtak Road, New Delhi.\n<\/p>\n<p>   2. GGSIP gave affiliation to 4 year B. Tech Degree Course with intake of 360 students to<br \/>\n      the College of Engineering and MCA(3 years) course with intake of 60 students in<br \/>\n      Institute of Computer Applications &amp; Management.\n<\/p>\n<p>   3. BVP Institute of Management &amp; Research is a constituent unit of BVPU as approved by<br \/>\n      Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India.\n<\/p>\n<p>   4. The above institutes are run in different buildings as per norms of the Government.\n<\/p>\n<p>The requisite information had been provided by the University as well as by the concerned<br \/>\ninstitute. The complainant filed the complaint with CIC before receipt of reply of the University.\n<\/p>\n<p>Relevant Facts emerging during Hearing:\n<\/p>\n<p>The following were present<br \/>\nComplainant: Mr. Aman Kumar;\n<\/p>\n<p>Respondent: Mr. A. K. Verma, Public Information Officer &amp; Joint Registrar (P);\n<\/p>\n<p>       The RTI Application had been filed by the Appellant at the Lodhi Road Post Office on<br \/>\n05\/01\/2010 and the application was received by the PIO on 29\/01\/2010.
