The claimants appellants are \n\ndeceased son Sujay Krishna. He  \n\nyears as on the date of the adccid'e'11_t\"'Aand'  '4\n\ngraduate in Mechanical Engineering; That the \n\nunfortunate date, ie on about 7:55\nhours, the deceased\"_'\"was'_VA a\u00a7V.pil'1iV_on\"'~ri_der of the Motor\nCycle bearing Registrationly fNo\";KA'%'o27w-2209 being\n\ndriven by frien.dl._ :wasV\"\"p'roceeding towards\n\nEngineers\" at x.\"VSabari complex, Residency\nRoad.EWV--  the B.R.V. Junction, on\n\nsee,ld.ng [real the rider, Pradeep stopped the\n\n~'  gx\/lotont\ufb02ycie.  the red signal was still ON, a\n\n  bus came from behind and dashed\n\nagainst standing motor cycle in which the deceased\n\n was a'*pillion rider. On account of the said accident, the\n\n{deceased sustained grievous injuries and later. on\n\n \" *'-'succurnbed to the same.\n\n94W\n\n55'\n\nf\n\n\n\n3. On account of the death of the deceased as a\nresult of the grievous injuries sustained in the aeeident,\n\nthe appellants herein, being his parents \ufb01led..:thtfe..'_elaim\n\npetition before the Tribunal, seeking eompensatioli  a\n\nsum of Rupees One Crore against t'heVV4res'pond:ent.V -- '; \n\nCorporation. The said claim petition had_e.orne\"\n\nconsideration before the  ._on-._:1'8\u00a55~-;v'4N'ov'ember\n2005. The Tribunal, after'Vp_jeonsidering'~the relevant\nmaterial available on' '\ufb01ie 'and;after,l'_app_reciation of the\n\noral and doeuinenitaijrl 'allowed the claim\n\npetition\ufb02int*ip5art,l\"Ea{rv'ardirig aim of Rs.4,65,000\/~ with\ninterestwp from the date of petition till\n\nits deposit\" the  Being dissatisfied with the\n\nf if   compensation awarded by the Tribunal, the\n\n ll in appeal before this Court, seeking\n\nenharzieement of compensation.\n\n We have heard the learned senior counsel\n\n\"appearing for the appellants and learned counsel for\n\nAre\n\n\/\n\n\n\nrespondent -- Corporation for considerable iength of<\/pre>\n

Engineering with high distinction:”through.oiit “anid.”had,p<\/p>\n
also cleared the Entrance  for IGNICIVTVforlkadmission
\nto join the Eiite Cizib~~._of o substantiate the
\nsaid submission, he  vprodticedvVt1’i:e1,VC’ertificate issued<\/p>\n
by the   Certi\ufb01cate, he<\/p>\n
subniittedi’ thevuopinion of the NIIT, if the
\ndeceased” gVhad.”vA,.CjVprod:1:ice’d the Engineering Degree<\/p>\n
Certificate”wiithddist-indction, he would have been placed<\/p>\n
.  the topmhidian IT Companies for Professioriai<\/p>\n
   have got a stipeiid of Rs.8,000\/– to<\/p>\n
Rs\u00ab.1O,,_’OO-(if\/4 and after the Probationary period, would<\/p>\n
 ..have earned a place in one of the reputed IT Companies<\/p>\n
 salary of Rs.15,000\/– to Rs.20,000\/– per month.<\/p>\n

\nthe Tribunal also   half of the
\nincome   expenses of the

is held :1 \/3″ towards personal expenses<\/p>\n

compensation may be awarded towards loss of<\/p>\n

that the judgment and award passed by  is<\/p>\n
just and reasonable and does not call <\/p>\n

without any justification and <\/p>\n

\na highly meritorious his educational
\ncareer and   with 82% in the

\nEngineeriiag  deceased had cleared the<\/p>\n

with salary of Rs. 15,000\/– to Rs.20,000\/–  <\/p>\n

Accordingly. we take the monthly income of the<\/p>\n

get': Rs.8,000\/~ per month. Taking the monthly income<\/p>\n

having regard to the age of the younger parent, mother,
\nwe award a sum of Rs.10,56,000\/– {i.e. Rs.8,000\/~–~ X 12
\nX 11 } towards loss of dependency instead of<\/p>\n
Rs.3,96,000\/– awarded by Tribunal.<\/p>\n
9. However. so far as the compe.neation’–.av1arded 9 <\/p>\n
towards the conventional heads <\/p>\n
is just and proper and doei’S-not for\n<\/p>\n
10. In the light of  of<\/p>\n
the case, the appeai\ufb02iiled is allowed in<\/p>\n
part. The impugned  passed by the<\/p>\n
