No. 31377 of 2013\n              --------------------------------------------\n           Dated this the 20th day of February, 2014\n\n                              JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>     The petitioners have approached this Court with the<\/p>\n<p>following prayers:\n<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>                  &#8220;i. To call for the records relating to Ext.P1 to<\/p>\n<p>           P5 and to issue a writ of mandamus commanding the<\/p>\n<p>           frost respondent to conduct enquiry in Ext.P5 petition<\/p>\n<p>           and to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to accept land<\/p>\n<p>           tax from the petitioners in respect of their property<\/p>\n<p>           presently falling in Re-survey No.104\/1 or in any<\/p>\n<p>           other Re-survey number which correspondent to old<\/p>\n<p>           Survey Nos. 4405 and 4392 covered by Ext.P1 sale<\/p>\n<p>           deed.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>                  ii. To issue a writ of mandamus commanding<\/p>\n<p>           the 4th respondent to settle the dispute regarding the<\/p>\n<p>           objection raised by the 3rd respondent in not<\/p>\n<p>           accepting land tax in respect of 5 cents of property<\/p>\n<p>           covered by Ext.P1 document and to take appropriate<\/p>\n<p>           action thereon.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>     2.   The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that,<\/p>\n<p>there is absolutely no rhyme or reason for the course pursued by<\/p>\n<p>the second respondent who issued Ext.P4 communication dated<\/p>\n<p>24.11.2011 in a cursory manner as the satisfaction of tax in<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">W.P.C. No. 31377 of 2013         -2-<\/span><\/p>\n<p>respect of the entire property, as discernible from Exts.P2 and<\/p>\n<p>P3. The learned counsel also points out that the grievance of the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner has also been projected by way of Ext.P5 pending<\/p>\n<p>consideration before the first respondent; but no action has been<\/p>\n<p>taken so far.\n<\/p>\n<p>      3. Despite several adjournments, no statement has been<\/p>\n<p>filed from the part of the respondents.<\/p>\n<p>      4. After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioners and<\/p>\n<p>the learned Government Pleader, this Court finds that, Ext.P5<\/p>\n<p>shall be caused to be considered by the first respondent.<\/p>\n<p>Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the first<\/p>\n<p>respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P5<\/p>\n<p>after hearing the petitioners and other interested parties, if any,<\/p>\n<p>at the earliest, at any rate, within &#8216;two months&#8217; from the date of<\/p>\n<p>receipt of a copy of this judgment.\n<\/p>\n<p>      The petitioners shall produce a copy of the judgment along<\/p>\n<p>with a copy of the writ petition before the concerned respondent<\/p>\n<p>for further steps.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                  P.R.
