RAMACHANDRA MENON, J.\n             ..............................................................................\n                       W.P.(C) No. 5394 OF 2007\n              .........................................................................\n                        Dated this the 31st May , 2010\n\n                                   J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>       The petitioner &#8216;Panchayath&#8217; is challenging the steps taken<\/p>\n<p>by the respondents under the SARFAESI Act for realisation of the<\/p>\n<p>electricity dues for the period in question.<\/p>\n<p>     2.     The Writ Petition was admitted on 19.02.2007,<\/p>\n<p>simultaneously passing an interim order . The learned Standing<\/p>\n<p>Counsel submits, on instruction, that the petitioner Panchayath<\/p>\n<p>has subsequently cleared the entire                                liability           and   recovery<\/p>\n<p>proceedings have already been dropped.                                                    In the said<\/p>\n<p>circumstance, nothing further survives in the Writ Petition.<\/p>\n<p>     However, since there is no representation for the petitioner,<\/p>\n<p>this Court does not propose to go into the merits of the case<\/p>\n<p>and the Writ Petition is dismissed for default.<\/p>\n<p>                                                   P.R.
