Respondents.\n\nPrayer: Petition filed seeking for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioners representation, dated 28.1.2011, and thereby direct the third respondent not to approve the resolution, dated 28.1.2011, in meeting No.15\/2010-2011, held at Kancheepuram Municipality Office passed by the fifth respondent.\n\n\t\tFor Petitioner\t  : Mr.M.V.Muralidaran\n\n\t\tFor Respondents    : Mr.L.S.M.Hasan Fizal\n\t\t\t\t\t     Government Advocate (R1 to R4 and R6) \n\nO R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>\t1. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for R1 to R4 and R6.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t2. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final hearing and disposal.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t3. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice, if the third respondent is directed to dispose of the representation, dated 28.1.2011, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t4. The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4 and 6, has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on either side, the third respondent is directed to dispose of the representation, dated 28.1.2011, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, and to the fifth respondent, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to furnish a copy of the representation, dated 28.1.2011, to the third respondent, along with a copy of this order. However, it is made clear that this Court, by this order, has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.<br \/>\n\t\tThe writ petition is disposed of, with the above directions. No costs.
