The learned Single Judge, on an extensive discussion of<br \/>\nthe matter, thought it fit to grant police protection to the petitioner (present<br \/>\nappellant) for a period of 15 days.  Subsequently, the present appeal has been<br \/>\nfiled claiming that  the police protection should be extended.  By various<br \/>\ninterim orders, such direction is being extended from time to time.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t\t4.Having heard the counsel and having gone through the various<br \/>\norders passed, we  hardly see any scope to interfere with the order of the<br \/>\nlearned Single Judge.  However, learned counsel for the appellant has submitted<br \/>\nthat protection may be extended for about two weeks to enable the appellant to<br \/>\nmake some arrangements.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t\t5.In the facts and circumstances of the case, we extend the police<br \/>\nprotection till 30th September, 2006.  We make in clear that no further<br \/>\nextension would be granted.  It is also made clear that under the garb of giving<br \/>\nprotection, the police should not dispossess any of the parties.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t\t6.The writ appeal is accordingly disposed of.
