( Oral )<\/p>\n<p>             The petitioner, who has retired from the services of the<\/p>\n<p>respondent Board on 30.6.2004 as Foreman Special, has filed the instant<\/p>\n<p>petition for issuing direction to the respondents to grant him the time bound<\/p>\n<p>promotional scale of Rs. 2000-3500 after completion of 9 years of service<\/p>\n<p>and Rs. 2100-3700 on completion of 16 years service, as per the<\/p>\n<p>Government instructions.\n<\/p>\n<p>             In the petition, it has been stated that after retirement of the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner, on the legal notice dated 29.6.2008 (Annexure P-6), served by<\/p>\n<p>the petitioner, his claim is under consideration, as is reflected in the letter<\/p>\n<p>dated 10.7.2009 (Annexure P-7). It is the case of the petitioner that till date,<\/p>\n<p>no final decision has been taken.
