Justice M.C.HARI RANI\n\n Dated :20\/12\/2010\n\n O R D E R\n            K.M.JOSEPH &amp; M.C.HARI RANI, JJ.\n                     * * * * * * * * * * * * *\n                      W.P.C.No.19361 of 2010\n                    ----------------------------------------\n           Dated this the 20th day of December 2010\n\n                             J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>K.M.JOSEPH,J<\/p>\n<p>     The petitioner has approached this Court seeking the<\/p>\n<p>following reliefs:\n<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>           a)    Issue a Writ of Mandamus, or any other<\/p>\n<p>           appropriate Writ, Order or Direction, directing<\/p>\n<p>           Respondents 2 to 4 to provide adequate police<\/p>\n<p>           protection to the lives of the Petitioner, his<\/p>\n<p>           family members and their properties;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>           b)     Issue a Writ of Mandamus, or any other<\/p>\n<p>           appropriate Writ, Order or Direction, directing<\/p>\n<p>           the 1st respondent that the Government may<\/p>\n<p>           provide special consideration to the old aged ex-<\/p>\n<p>           servicemen and for redressal of their genuine<\/p>\n<p>           grievances;\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>     2.   Briefly put, the case of the petitioner is as follows:<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>     3.   The complaint of the petitioner is essentially that the<\/p>\n<p>5th respondent, a Subordinate Police Officer, has sent an<\/p>\n<p>anonymous letter to the petitioner threatening his life and<\/p>\n<p>destruction of his property.          The learned counsel for the 5th<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">W.P.C.No.19361 of 2010             2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>respondent submits that he has not threatened the petitioner<\/p>\n<p>and that he has no intention to cause any threat to the petitioner.\n<\/p>\n<p>      4.     Today also, when the matter came up, the learned<\/p>\n<p>counsel for the 5th respondent reiterates that the 5th respondent<\/p>\n<p>has not threatened the petitioner and that he has no intention to<\/p>\n<p>cause any threat to the petitioner.\n<\/p>\n<p>      5.     We record the same and close the writ petition.
