Respondents\n\nPrayer\n\nPetition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying\nfor the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to\nconsider the representation, dated 18.09.2010, made by the petitioner in the\nlight of the recommendations made by the second respondent within a time frame\nas may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.\n\n!For petitioner  ... Mr.R.Manoharan\n    \t\t     Government Pleader\n\n:ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>\tHeard Mr.P.Jessi Jeeva Priya, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of<br \/>\nthe petitioner, as well as Mr.R.Manoharan, the learned Government Advocate<br \/>\nappearing on behalf of the respondents.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t2. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel<br \/>\nappearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice, if<br \/>\nthe representation of the petitioner, dated 18.09.2010, is directed to be<br \/>\ndisposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t3. The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents,<br \/>\nhas no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t4. In view of the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of this<br \/>\npetition and in view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on<br \/>\nbehalf of the petitioner, the first respondent is directed to consider and<br \/>\ndispose of the petitioner&#8217;s representation, dated  18.09.2010, on merits and in<br \/>\naccordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner,<br \/>\nas well as to the other persons concerned, within a period of twelve weeks from<br \/>\nthe date of receipt of a copy of this order.  The petitioner is directed to<br \/>\nsubmit a copy of the representation, dated 18.09.2010, along with a copy of this<br \/>\norder, to the first respondent. However, it is made clear, that this Court, by<br \/>\nthis order, has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t5. The writ petition stands disposed of, with the above directions.  No<br \/>\ncosts.
