(ORAL)\n<\/pre>\n<p>                Notice issued to the respondent through their<\/p>\n<p>counsel in the lower court has been received back with a report that<\/p>\n<p>copy of the application was not annexed.<\/p>\n<p>                This is a petition under Section 24 of the Code of<\/p>\n<p>Civil Procedure, for transfer of a petition under Section 34 of the<\/p>\n<p>Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (for short &#8216;The Act&#8217;), titled<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;PUNSUP Vs.M\/s Lajpat Rai Rice Mills, Dhuri&#8217;, pending in the<\/p>\n<p>                               &#8230; 1<br \/>\n T.A.No.468 of 2008<\/p>\n<p>Court of Additional District Judge, Chandigarh, to the Court of<\/p>\n<p>Sh.D.R.Arora, District Judge, Sangrur, where a petition under<\/p>\n<p>Section 34 of the Act, filed by the respondents is pending. When this<\/p>\n<p>petition was filed in November, 2008, the petition under Section 34 of<\/p>\n<p>the Act, filed by the respondents, was stated to be pending for<\/p>\n<p>adjudication, in the Court of District Judge, Sangrur, for 07.01.2009.<\/p>\n<p>                 Counsel states at Bar that said petition is still<\/p>\n<p>pending.\n<\/p>\n<p>                 I have considered the facts and circumstances of<\/p>\n<p>this case and I am of the opinion that the Award dated 21.04.2006, is<\/p>\n<p>the subject matter of the petitions under Section 34 of the Act, filed<\/p>\n<p>by both the parties in different Districts. It will be expedient, in the<\/p>\n<p>interest of justice, in case the petitions under Section 34 of the Act,<\/p>\n<p>filed by both the parties are adjudicated upon by the same Judge.<\/p>\n<p>                 This petition is allowed and it is ordered that petition<\/p>\n<p>under Section 34 of the Act, titled &#8216;Punjab State Civil Supplies<\/p>\n<p>Corporation Limited &amp; another Vs.M\/s Lajpat Rai Rice Mills and<\/p>\n<p>others&#8217;, will be transferred to the District Judge, Sangrur, where a<\/p>\n<p>petition under Section 34 of the Act, titled &#8216; M\/s Lajpat Rai Rice<\/p>\n<p>Mills and others Vs. Punjab State Civil Supplies Corporation<\/p>\n<p>Limited &amp; another, is pending.
