No. 1543 of 2011<\/p>\n<p>                           The appellant has renewed his prayer for bail, which was<\/p>\n<p>                 lastly rejected on 25.8.2010 noticing the evidence, which was<\/p>\n<p>                 indicative of the torture upon the lady due to non fulfillment of<\/p>\n<p>                 dowry demand of television and motorcycle and also about the<\/p>\n<p>                 death being due to asphyxia indicating fracture and dislocation of<\/p>\n<p>                 2nd cervical vertebra with laceration of spinal cord and vessels.<\/p>\n<p>                           Contending on merits of the petition, learned counsel<\/p>\n<p>                 drew the attention of the court to page 5 of the judgment over which<\/p>\n<p>                 discussion of evidence of Dr Shashi Kumar Gupta has been made. It<\/p>\n<p>                 was contended that postmortem examination had, in fact, been done<\/p>\n<p>                 by the sweeper but if one considers the detailed evidence which has<\/p>\n<p>                 been discussed in the judgment at pages 4 and 5, one could find that<\/p>\n<p>                 the sweeper was only assisting the doctor in holding of postmortem<\/p>\n<p>                 examination. Their opinion about of the death does not get vitiated<\/p>\n<p>                 on that account.\n<\/p>\n<p>                           Because the prayer for bail has recently been rejected, the<\/p>\n<p>                 court is not inclined to grant bail to the appellant.
