Petitioner is a constable serving in the<\/p>\n<p>                     Vaishali District Police. He has filed the writ petition<\/p>\n<p>                     questioning the District Order No. 2611\/05 passed by the<\/p>\n<p>                     Superintendent of Police, Vaishali at Hajipur bearing<\/p>\n<p>                     Memo       No.      5308   dated    29.11.2005,         Annexure-1<\/p>\n<p>                     whereunder he has been punished with stoppage of one<\/p>\n<p>                     increment which is akin to two black marks affecting his<\/p>\n<p>                     service    career     throughout.    Against      the     aforesaid<\/p>\n<p>                     punishment       order     dated    29.11.2005,     Annexure-1,<\/p>\n<p>                     petitioner has filed appeal before the D.I.G., Tirhut Range,<\/p>\n<p>                     Muzaffarpur, which according to the petitioner, is still<\/p>\n<p>                     pending.\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">                           2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>                   3. Let the D.I.G., Tirhut Range, Muzaffarpur<\/p>\n<p>         consider and dispose of the appeal of the petitioner ( if not<\/p>\n<p>         already disposed of) as early as possible in any case within<\/p>\n<p>         two months from the date of receipt\/ production of a copy<\/p>\n<p>         of this order before the D.I.G., Tirhut Range, Muzaffarpur.<\/p>\n<p>                   4.
