Petitioners are accused 1 to 2.\n<\/p>\n<p>They face allegations in a crime registered alleging commission<\/p>\n<p>of   offences   punishable   inter   alia   under   Sections   332   and   308<\/p>\n<p>read   with   149   I.P.C.     The   alleged   incident   took   place   on<\/p>\n<p>8\/2\/2008.     Petitioners   were   arrested   on   various   dates   between<\/p>\n<p>8\/2\/2008   and   12\/2\/2008.     They   continue   in   custody   from   the<\/p>\n<p>dates   of   their   respective   arrest.     Investigation   is   not   complete.\n<\/p>\n<p>Political   animosity   is   the   alleged   motive.     Petitioners,   who   owe<\/p>\n<p>allegiance to the ruling political party in the State are alleged to<\/p>\n<p>have assaulted the victims who owe allegiance to the opposition<\/p>\n<p>political party.   A meeting addressed by the opposition  political<\/p>\n<p>leader was allegedly  disturbed and  disrupted by the  petitioners<\/p>\n<p>who allegedly  indulged in  wanton  acts of mischief and  violence<\/p>\n<p>against   the   police   party   which   had   reached   the   scene   of   the<\/p>\n<p>crime.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2.     The   learned   counsel   for   the   petitioners   prays,   the<\/p>\n<p>learned   Public   Prosecutor   does   not   oppose   the   said   prayer   on<\/p>\n<p>condition   that   appropriate   safeguards   may   be   insisted   and<\/p>\n<p>imposed   and   I   am   satisfied   that   the   petitioners     can   now   be<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">B.A.No.1132\/08                           2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>enlarged   on   bail     subject   to   appropriate   conditions   which   shall<\/p>\n<p>ensure   the   interests   of   a   fair,   efficient   and   expeditious<\/p>\n<p>investigation.     Appropriate   conditions   can   also   be   imposed   to<\/p>\n<p>ensure   that   the   law   and   order   situation   in   the   locality   is   not<\/p>\n<p>disturbed by the release of the petitioners.\n<\/p>\n<p>       3.      In the result, this petition is allowed.
