DAVE\n\t\t\n\t\n\n \n\n \n \n\n\n \n\nDate\n: 19\/07\/2011 \n\n \n\n \n \nORAL\nORDER<\/pre>\n<p>The<br \/>\n\tapplicant convict has preferred this application against the order<br \/>\n\tpassed by the competent authority of refusing to consider his case<br \/>\n\tfor furlough which was due to him on the ground that the police<br \/>\n\tofficer of the area had given adverse opinion and his wife had shown<br \/>\n\ther unwillingness to be a surety.\n<\/p>\n<p>The<br \/>\n\tjail record of the applicant convict reveals that his overall<br \/>\n\tconduct in jail is reasonably good and he has remained in jail for<br \/>\n\tabout 3 years and 4 months.\n<\/p>\n<p>In<br \/>\n\tthe above circumstances, if the applicant convict furnishes a<br \/>\n\tpersonal bond of Rs.5,000\/= (Rupees Five Thousand Only) to the<br \/>\n\tsatisfaction of the jail authority, he may be granted parole for<br \/>\n\ta period of two weeks,<br \/>\n\tfrom the date of his release, on the condition that the<br \/>\n\tapplicant convict shall mark his presence once in a week before the<br \/>\n\tnearest Police Station.  On<br \/>\n\tcompletion of the period of parole, the applicant convict shall<br \/>\n\tsurrender in time before the jail authority.\n<\/p>\n<p>With<br \/>\n\tthe aforesaid observation and direction, this application stands<br \/>\n\tdisposed of.
