     The petitioners, who are students who passed M.B.B.S.<\/p>\n
Examination from the 3rd respondent’s College challenge Ext.P4<\/p>\n
order passed by the 1st respondent wherein the provisional<\/p>\n
registration of the students of the 3rd respondent’s College under<\/p>\n
the Travancore-Cochin Medical Practitioners’ Act, with which only<\/p>\n
they can start their internship, completion of which is mandatory<\/p>\n
for obtaining M.B.B.S degree, has been refused on the ground<\/p>\n
that the Medical Council of India has not given final recognition to<\/p>\n
the College.\n<\/p>\n
     2.    The learned Standing Counsel for the Medical Council<\/p>\n
of India produced before me a communication from the Medical<\/p>\n
Council of India to the Secretary, Government of India, Ministry<\/p>\n
of Health & Family Welfare dated 21.5.2008 recommending final<\/p>\n
recognition for the 3rd respondent’s College.<\/p>\n

      3.    The petitioner today produced before me a<\/p>\n
notification from the Secretary, Government of India, Ministry<\/p>\n
of Health & Family Welfare Department, which according to the<\/p>\n
petitioners is the final notification granting recognition to the<\/p>\n
3rd respondent’s College. In the above circumstances, the writ<\/p>\n
petition is disposed of with the following directions:<\/p>\n
      If the petitioner produces the document, now produced<\/p>\n
before me for my perusal, before the 1st respondent, the 1st<\/p>\n
respondent shall consider the same and if the same is<\/p>\n
sufficient to grant provisional registration to the petitioners,<\/p>\n
the 1st respondent shall issue appropriate orders in the matter,<\/p>\n
as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of two<\/p>\n
months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.<\/p>\n
