Justice V.RAMKUMAR\n\n Dated :11\/04\/2007\n\n O R D E R\n                           V.RAMKUMAR, J.\n\n                           ----------------------------\n\n                     Bail Application No. 2168\/2007\n\n                           -----------------------------\n\n                    Dated this  11th day of April, 2007\n\n\n                                 O R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>             The petitioner,  who is the second accused in Crime<\/p>\n<p>No.156\/2007   of   Changaramkulam   Police   Station   for   offences<\/p>\n<p>punishable   under   Sections   143,   147,   283   and   353   IPC   read<\/p>\n<p>with Section 149 IPC, seeks anticipatory bail.<\/p>\n<p>      2.     The   learned   Public   Prosecutor   opposed   the<\/p>\n<p>application   submitting   inter   alia   that   the   petitioner   is   an<\/p>\n<p>accused in two other crimes.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>      3.     The   case   of   the   prosecution   is   that   at   about   6.00<\/p>\n<p>p.m   on   22.3.2007,     the   petitioner   along   with   other   accused<\/p>\n<p>blocked   the   vehicles   at   Edappal   Junction   consequent   on<\/p>\n<p>prohibiting the sale of fish and they wrongfully restrained the<\/p>\n<p>Sub   Inspector   of   Police   and   his   party   from   discharging   their<\/p>\n<p>official duties.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>      4.     Anticipatory bail cannot be granted in a case of this<\/p>\n<p>nature.       There   is   no   reason   why   the   petitioner   should   not<\/p>\n<p>surrender   before   the   Magistrate   concerned   and   seek   regular<\/p>\n<p>bail.
