(Oral)\n<\/pre>\n<p>            The only prayer made in the present appeal is that the amount of<\/p>\n<p>compensation awarded by the Tribunal, which was ordered to be deposited in<\/p>\n<p>some Nationalised Bank in the favour of the claimant, in the shape of Fixed<\/p>\n<p>Deposit Receipts, be disbursed to her forthwith.<\/p>\n<p>            It is stated by the learned counsel for the appellants that<\/p>\n<p>appellant No. 1 is adult and is capable of using the amount of compensation<\/p>\n<p>in accordance with her own need and requirements.<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\"> FAO No. 1804 of 2009                                                     2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>             Learned counsel for the respondent has no objection in releasing<\/p>\n<p>the amount of compensation in favour of the appellant No. 1, who is a major.<\/p>\n<p>             In view of the above, the instant appeal is allowed and the order<\/p>\n<p>dated 27.02.2008 passed by the Railway Claims Tribunal, Chandigarh Bench,<\/p>\n<p>Chandigarh is modified to the extent that the amount of compensation so<\/p>\n<p>awarded shall be released in favour of appellant No. 1 immediately, who is the<\/p>\n<p>legal heir of the deceased.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                                          (Nirmaljit Kaur)<br \/>\n                                                                Judge<br \/>\nNovember 04, 2009<br \/>\nmohan\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Punjab-Haryana High Court Smt.
