Krishnaveni\t\t\t\t\t\t.. Respondents\n\nPRAYER: Writ Petition came to be numbered by transfer of O.A. No.7581 of 1999 on the file of the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal to call for the entire records pertaining to the impugned seniority list of Secondary Grade teachers in Vellore Panchayat Union Unit for the year 1999 prepared as on 01.01.1999 by the Assistant Elementary Education Officer, Vellore Panchayat Union (Office at Konavattam) in his Proceeding No.Na.Ka.No.102\/Aa.1\/99 dated 17.02.1999 and set aside the same and further direct the respondents 1 and 2 to include the petitioners 1 and 2 names in Sl.No.8 and 9 respectively in the Secondary Grade Seniority list for Secondary Grade teachers for the year 1999 by treating the petitioners as Secondary Grade Teachers from 01.01.1971 onwards in the light of G.O. Ms. No.347 School Education Department, dated 15.09.1998 and award all the consequential benefits including the consequential promotion as Elementary School Headmaster.\n                        \n\t\tFor Petitioners   \t  :  Mr. K. Sivashanmugam\n\t\t\t\t\t     Government Advocate \n                                    \t\t\t\t\t  \t       \nO R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>\tThis writ petition is filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to include the petitioners 1 and 2 names in the Secondary Grade Seniority list for Secondary Grade teachers for the year 1999 by treating the petitioners as Secondary Grade Teachers from 01.01.1971 onwards in the light of G.O. Ms. No.347 School Education Department, dated 15.09.1998 and award all the consequential benefits including the consequential promotion as Elementary School Headmaster.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t2. Learned counsel for the petitioners fairly states that a joint representation has been made by the petitioners on 06.04.1999 and the same has not been considered by the respondents so far. He further submits that the petitioners are entitled to the benefits including promotion as Elementary School Headmaster in the light of G.O. Ms. No.347 School Education Department, dated 15.09.1998. He prayed for a direction to dispose of the above said representation at an early date.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t3. Heard Mr. S. Sivashanmugam, learned Government Advocate.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t4. At this point, if the relief sought for has not been granted the petitioner is at liberty to make further representation in continuation of the earlier representation to the respondents for redressal of thier grievance, if any. The first respondent shall consider the representation and dispose of the the same on merits within a period of three months from the date of receipt of such representation when made along with a copy of this order.
