RAMKUMAR, J.\n                    .........................................\n              Bail Application No. 7484 of 2010\n                    ..........................................\n                        Dated: 23-11-2010\n\n                                  ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>      Petitioners who are        accused Nos. 8 to 11             in Crime No.<\/p>\n<p>963 of 2010 of    Thrissur West Police Station (Thrissur District)<\/p>\n<p>for offences punishable under Sections 143, 147, 148, 323, 324,<\/p>\n<p>326 and 308 read with Sec. 149 I.P.C. seek anticipatory bail.<\/p>\n<p>      2.    The   learned        Public        Prosecutor        opposed     the<\/p>\n<p>application.\n<\/p>\n<p>      3.    Anticipatory bail cannot be granted in a case of this<\/p>\n<p>nature.   But at the same time,               I am inclined to permit the<\/p>\n<p>petitioners to surrender before the Investigating Officer for the<\/p>\n<p>purpose of interrogation and then to have their application for<\/p>\n<p>bail considered by the Magistrate                           having jurisdiction.<\/p>\n<p>Accordingly,   the   petitioners          shall      surrender     before    the<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">Bail Application No. 7484 of 2010   -:2:-<\/span><\/p>\n<p>investigating officer on 3-12-2010 or 4-12-2010 for the purpose<\/p>\n<p>of interrogation and recovery of incriminating material, if any.<\/p>\n<p>The petitioners shall thereafter be produced before the<\/p>\n<p>Magistrate who on being satisfied that the petitioners have been<\/p>\n<p>interrogated by the police shall consider and dispose of their<\/p>\n<p>application for regular bail       preferably on the same date on<\/p>\n<p>which it is filed.\n<\/p>\n<p>      This petition is disposed of as above.\n<\/p>\n<p>      Dated this the 23rd day of November, 2010.<\/p>\n<p>                                          V.RAMKUMAR, JUDGE<\/p>\n<p>ani\/<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kerala High Court Jithu P.S. vs State Of Kerala on 23 November, 2010 IN THE HIGH COURT OF KERALA AT ERNAKULAM Bail Appl..No. 7484 of 2010() 1.
