{"id":196666,"date":"2005-05-12T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2005-05-11T18:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.legalindia.com\/judgments\/regarding-status-of-implementation-of-the-recommendations-in-the-79-on-12-may-2005"},"modified":"2016-03-12T22:20:42","modified_gmt":"2016-03-12T16:50:42","slug":"regarding-status-of-implementation-of-the-recommendations-in-the-79-on-12-may-2005","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.legalindia.com\/judgments\/regarding-status-of-implementation-of-the-recommendations-in-the-79-on-12-may-2005","title":{"rendered":"Regarding Status Of Implementation Of The Recommendations In The 79 &#8230; on 12 May, 2005"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"docsource_main\">Lok Sabha Debates<\/div>\n<div class=\"doc_title\">Regarding Status Of Implementation Of The Recommendations In The 79 &#8230; on 12 May, 2005<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<pre><\/pre>\n<p>                                          &gt; <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0  <\/p>\n<p><a class=\"marker_ref\" href=\"\/search\/?formInput=Title\">Title<\/a>:  Regarding status of implementation of the recommendations in the 79th\u00a0 Report of the Standing Committee on Transport, Tourism and Culture. \u2013 Laid.   <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0  <\/p>\n<p> 12.04 \u00be hrs.  <\/p>\n<p> \u00a0  <\/p>\n<p>(viii)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 STATUS OF IMPLEMENTATION OF RECOMMENDATIONS CONTAINED IN THE 79TH REPORT OF STANDING COMMITTEE ON TRANSPORT, TOURISM AND CULTURE PERTAINING TO THE   <\/p>\n<p>MINISTRY OF TOURISM  <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0  <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0  <\/p>\n<p>THE MINISTER OF STATE OF THE MINISTRY OF TOURISM\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (SHRIMATI RENUKA CHOWDHURY): Sir, I lay the statement *on the Table of the House.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0I am making this Statement on the status of implementation of Recommendations contained in the 79th Report of Department related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Transport, Tourism &amp; Culture in pursuance of the direction 73A of the Hon\u2019ble Speaker, Lok Sabha which reads as under:-\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Minister concerned shall make once in six months a statement in the House regarding the status of implementation of recommendations contained in the Reports of Lok Sabha with regard to his Ministry. \u201d  <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0  <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Standing Committee on Transport, Tourism &amp; Culture has held its meeting on 10th August 2004 to consider the Demands for Grants of the Ministry of Tourism for the year 2004-05.\u00a0 The Committee had also taken the Oral Evidence of officers of the Ministry. The Committee which analysing the Demands for Grants of the Ministry with reference to the aims, objectives and achievements presented its 79th Report on the Demands for Grants (2004-05) (Demand No. 93) of the Ministry of Tourism (The Report was presented to the Rajya Sabha on 26.8.2004)  <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Mr. Speaker Sir, in its Report the Standing Committee made 23 Recommendations in all.\u00a0 Out of 23 Recommendations, the Ministry has accepted 18 Recommendations and 4 Recommendations have been partially accepted.\u00a0 One Recommendation to bring the \u2018Tourism\u2019 into the Concurrent List is under examination of my Ministry.\u00a0 The Action Taken Report on Recommendations of the Committee has been furnished to the Rajya Sabha Secretariat vide Ministry of Tourism\u2019s O.M. dated 29th November, 2004.\n<\/p>\n<p>       \u00a0  <\/p>\n<p>*Statement was laid on the Table.(Placed in Library.
