Learned<br \/>\nAdvocate General submitted that members of other battalions of the<br \/>\nBorder Wing Home Guards were already afforded such opportunity of<br \/>\nabsorption with prospective effect, but cases of the Border Wing Home<br \/>\nGuards concerned in the present appeals are sought to be placed on a<br \/>\ndifferent footing on account of their joining the voluntary service<br \/>\nmuch earlier. Therefore, it requires a longer time for the State<br \/>\nGovernment to consider appropriate scheme for the Boarder Wing Home<br \/>\nGuards concerned herein and it will take minimum of one month for a<br \/>\ncertain response to the proposals made by the respondents and the<br \/>\nsuggestions made by the Court.\n<\/p>\n<p>2.\t\tUnder<br \/>\nthe above circumstances, it was agreed that this group of appeals may<br \/>\nbe kept as part-heard and hearing may be adjourned to 29.12.2010 for<br \/>\nthe purpose of further hearing or necessary orders. It is hoped that<br \/>\nthe State Government will sympathetically consider the cases and<br \/>\npredicament of the persons concerned, particularly in view of the<br \/>\nundisputed fact that, prima facie, most of them have already<br \/>\ncompleted more than 15 years of continuous service and  willingness<br \/>\nis expressed on their behalf that they may not insist on full payment<br \/>\nof arrears on the basis of the impugned judgment, for the sake of<br \/>\nsecurity in later life and emoluments at par with other members of<br \/>\nthe armed police force of the State.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t\tS.O.\n<\/p>\n<p>to 29.12.2010.
