The following were present
\nAppellant: Mr. Chandrabhushan Prasad Singh;
\nRespondent: Mr. Kanchan Kumar, Public Information Officer & AGM on video conference from
\n              NIC-Samastipur Studio;\n<\/p>\n
        The Appellant had not paid the requisite application fee. Yet the PIO had offered to give the
\ninformation consisting of 52 pages to him on payment of the additional fee at the rate of Rs.2\/- per
\npage. The PIO has also claimed an additional fee of Rs.25\/- for certification which is not as per the
\nrules of the RTI Act. However, the Appellant has not paid any additional fee.
\n Decision:\n<\/p>\n
The appeal is allowed.\n<\/p>\n
       The PIO is directed to provide the information to the Appellant once he pays the
\nadditional fee of Rs.104\/-.\n<\/p>\n
This decision is announced in open chamber.
\nNotice of this decision be given free of cost to the parties.
\nAny information in compliance with this order will be provided free cost as per Section 7(6) of RTI Act.\n<\/p>\n
