Heard Shri Padamjit Singh for the petitioner and Shri V.B.K. Jain, for the first respondent.\n<\/p>\n<p>2. The petitioner has, inter alia, sought a direction to the first respondent to augment gas\/RLNG supply to its generating station in Northern Region to achieve annual PLF of 80% or more on gas firing and to give a committed time schedule for achieving the same. The representative of the first respondent has submitted that a detailed time schedule for augmenting supply of gas to these generating stations will be finalized within a period of 3 months and submitted to the Commission for its consideration. He prayed for time accordingly. We allow time as prayed for.\n<\/p>\n<p>3. The petitioner has sought formulation of methodology for metering and UI accounting of gas-fired energy and liquid-fired energy separately. Mixed fuel firing of gas turbines should be discontinued to facilitate separate UI accounting for gas and liquid firing. It will involve installation of separate meters for measuring gasfired energy and liquid-fired energy and also extra cost. This matter needs to be first discussed at the Regional Power Committee.\n<\/p>\n<p>4. We direct that the time schedule finalized by the first respondent as also the separate metering arrangements shall in the first instance be discussed at Northern Regional Power Committee and the outcome of such discussions shall be placed on record by the Member Secretary latest by 15.4.2006.\n<\/p>\n<p>5. The petitioner has sought directions to the first respondent for supply of details of agreement\/MOU\/arrangement with Gas Authority of India Ltd and other gas suppliers entered into for supply of gas and RLNG. The representative of the first respondent has undertaken to furnish copies of the requisite documents to the petitioner and other respondents within two weeks. Let the necessary details be furnished accordingly.\n<\/p>\n<p>6.
