Jain, for petitioner<br \/>\n\t\tInstant petition has been filed with the grievance that while holding post of Constable, services of petitioner are being engaged by respondents as Driver in Mechanical Transport Wing of Rajasthan Police, so he is entitled for selection grade in mechanical cadre.<br \/>\n\t\tIt appears from the material on record that petitioner has never made any representation or approached the respondent department for grant of selection scale which according to him is admissible under the law. In the absence thereof, this Court is not inclined to exercise equitable jurisdiction U\/Art.226 of the Constitution.<br \/>\n\t\tConsequently, writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed.
