BALI RAM SHARMA\n                                  Versus\n                        THE STATE OF BIHAR &amp; ORS\n                                 -----------\n<\/pre>\n<p>06\/   30.03.2011           The Registrar, Magadh University is present<\/p>\n<p>                   in Court. Show cause has been filed on behalf of the<\/p>\n<p>                   University. Two cheques, one amounting to Rs.<\/p>\n<p>                   37,293\/- and another amounting to Rs.24,684\/- to be<\/p>\n<p>                   paid to the petitioner towards D.D.A. with 5% interest<\/p>\n<p>                   and towards earned leave, have been presented in<\/p>\n<p>                   Court. Cheque Nos. 0057423 and 0061359 amounting<\/p>\n<p>                   to Rs.37,293\/- and 24,684\/- are being handed over to<\/p>\n<p>                   Mr. Mithilesh Kumar Upadhayay, counsel appearing<\/p>\n<p>                   for the petitioner for being handed over to the<\/p>\n<p>                   petitioner. The acceptance of these cheques on behalf<\/p>\n<p>                   of the petitioner must be filed in Court on the next<\/p>\n<p>                   date.\n<\/p>\n<p>                           In the show cause it has been stated that the<\/p>\n<p>                   amounts relating to arrears of salary and the D.D.A.<\/p>\n<p>                   have been paid to the petitioner as found admissible<\/p>\n<p>                   by the auditors. This statement in the show cause is<\/p>\n<p>                   nothing but in contradiction of the statutory<\/p>\n<p>                   provisions and the reason for this must be explained<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                            2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>       by the counsel appearing for the University by filing<\/p>\n<p>       supplementary show cause, specially when the<\/p>\n<p>       authority of the auditors team appointed by the State<\/p>\n<p>       to check the expenses of the University have clearly<\/p>\n<p>       been decided by Division Bench.
