The matter came up for<br \/>\nhearing on 31.10.2011. The appellant was absent, whereas the respondents were<br \/>\nrepresented by Shri Gopal Prassad, Senior Manager.\n<\/p>\n<p>2.     The appellant filed an RTI-application dated 2.2.2011 seeking action taken report<br \/>\non his applications dated 8.3.2005 and 30.10.2007 for correcting the name of his father in<br \/>\nthe record of employer as well as CMPF. The PIO vide letter No. MP\/B-II\/RTI\/2011\/507<br \/>\ndated 22.2.2011 informed the appellant that his said applications were not received, as<br \/>\nintimated by the holder of information i.e. Madhuvan Colliery vide letter No. 77 dated<br \/>\n11.2.2011.\n<\/p>\n<p>3.     Aggrieved by the reply of PIO, the appellant preferred first-appeal on 3.3.2011<br \/>\nbefore FAA. The appellant has not received FAA&#8217;s order till the time of fining the second-<br \/>\nappeal before the Commission.\n<\/p>\n<p>4.     During the hearing the respondent submitted that FAA vide order No.<br \/>\nGM:B.II:PD:RTI:2011:513 dated 4\/6.6.2011 observed that the appellant did not turn up for<br \/>\nthe hearing and hence no comment could be received on his part despite of registered<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                                            2          Case No. CIC\/SS\/A\/2011\/000901<\/span><\/p>\n<p>letter sent to him for attending the hearing of the appeal and it was implied that the<br \/>\nappellant has received the required information sent by PIO, Block-II Area and was<br \/>\nsatisfied with the same.\n<\/p>\n<p>5.
