respondents to recalculate the pay   <\/p>\n
the \ufb01tment of the petitioners to   7}’<\/p>\n
regarding revised pay scale,
\neffect from 01.01.1997  and etc’… stich other

2. It is I}.0t__iE1.  to Annexure<\/p>\n
‘A’, a   “revised pay scales and<\/p>\n
allowances   respect of Executives in<\/p>\n
VV..Grades”5g1  _19. A’ ‘*T1__1e .ct1t-off date, it appears was<\/p>\n
01.0i.’199?.’-czause 3 of the said Circular would dea}<\/p>\n
 L-.____With”re?4optio1i.i’ori promotion after pay revision, which<\/p>\n
yvtegid necessarily mean that the option was given to the<\/p>\n
  to have his pay \ufb01xed as on the date of the
\n1′   or as on the date of the promotion. All the
\n empioyees who were promoted after 01.01.1997 had<\/p>\n
 opted for implementation of the revised pay scale from<\/p>\n
the date of promotion. Indeed in so far as the
\nemployees who got promoted prior to the cutoff date <\/p>\n
01.01.1997, nothing was said.<\/p>\n
3. Mr.M.submmanya Bhat, :ie\u00e91i’\ufb02ed
\naPP@e.rir1g for the Petitioner submits  to ” 1
\nAnnexure ‘C’ dated 09.06.2001,  was
\nthe employees, who were , to
\nchoose either the date of  is date of
\npromotion to have;  ‘SCaie:w.T’fixed. He
\nfurther  thensaid Annexure ‘C’,
\nthe petitioner\u00a5Association’  ggiven representations,
\ncopies of” are  at Annexures ‘D’ to ‘J’,<\/p>\n
