\n            The appellants were awarded compensation to the tune of
\nRs.1,30,000\/- along with interest @ 3% per annum.\n<\/p>\n
            Aggrieved by the said award dated 2.1.2007 passed by the
\nMotor Accident Claims Tribunal, Bathinda, the appellants have come up in
\nappeal for enhancement.\n<\/p>\n
            The learned counsel for the respondent No.3 has informed that
\nhe accepts the offer of claimants No.1 and 2 to enhance the compensation
\nby Rs.70,000\/-.\n<\/p>\n
            As such, on consensus of the parties, this appeal is partly
\nallowed. Now the claimants-appellants would be entitled to receive a sum
\nof Rs.70,000\/- over and above the award amount which shall be paid by the
\nInsurance Company within 45 days from the date of receipt of copy of the
\norder, failing which the claimants would be entitled to interest at the same
\nrate as awarded by the Tribunal.\n<\/p>\n
