Justice T.R.RAMACHANDRAN NAIR\n\n Dated :12\/02\/2009\n\n O R D E R\n                T.R.RAMACHANDRAN NAIR, J\n            --------------------------------------------------\n                   W.P.(C) No. 4666 of 2009\n            ---------------------------------------------------\n          Dated this the 12th day of February, 2009\n\n                             JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>      The petitioner was suspended from service as per Ext.P1<\/p>\n<p>while working as Range Officer, along with Divisional Forest<\/p>\n<p>Officer and the Conservator of Forests. A reading of Ext.P1<\/p>\n<p>shows that, it is based on a report that appeared in the<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Mathrubhoomi&#8217; daily dated 29-9-2008 to the effect that there<\/p>\n<p>was large scale corruption in the auction of timber in Veettoor<\/p>\n<p>Depot held on 28.8.2008. On conducting an enquiry by the<\/p>\n<p>Vigilance wing of the department it was revealed that the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner, the Conservator of Forests, Thrissur Circle and the<\/p>\n<p>Divisional Forest Officer, Timber Sales, Perumbavoor were<\/p>\n<p>found to be prima facie guilty and hence it was decided by the<\/p>\n<p>Government to place them under suspension.                    Seeking for<\/p>\n<p>revocation of order of suspension, he has moved the<\/p>\n<p>Government by filing Ext.P3 dated 10.1.2009.<\/p>\n<p>      2. Heard the learned Government Pleader also. In the light<\/p>\n<p>of the grounds urged in Ext.P3, there will be a direction to the<\/p>\n<p>first respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P3 within a<\/p>\n<p>wpc:4666 of 2009<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                                 2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this<\/p>\n<p>judgment after hearing the petitioner also.<\/p>\n<p>     The writ petition is disposed of as above.<\/p>\n<p>                              T.R.RAMACHANDRAN NAIR,<br \/>\n                                          JUDGE<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kerala High Court N.
