APP (DB) No.68 of 2011\n                                  RAMA SHANKAR SINGH\n                                             Versus\n                                   THE STATE OF BIHAR\n                                           -----------\n<\/pre>\n<p>4       11-03-2011             Heard learned counsel for the appellant and<\/p>\n<p>                     learned counsel for the State in respect of I.A. no.<\/p>\n<p>                     217\/2011 through which the appellant has prayed for<\/p>\n<p>                     grant of bail after being convicted for an offence under<\/p>\n<p>                     the NDPS Act and sentenced to undergo 15 years of R.I<\/p>\n<p>                     on the allegation of being found in possession of Ganja<\/p>\n<p>                     weighing 35 kg which is a commercial quantity.<\/p>\n<p>                               In the facts and circumstances of the case, we<\/p>\n<p>                     are not in a position to hold at the present stage that the<\/p>\n<p>                     conviction is against law. For that a detailed hearing is<\/p>\n<p>                     required. Hence, the prayer for bail is rejected in view of<\/p>\n<p>                     Section 37 of NDPS Act.
