RAVIKUMAR, J\n           - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -\n                   W.P.(C)No. 27325 OF 2010\n          - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -\n\n        Dated this the 13th day of September, 2010\n\n\n                           J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>           The petitioner is an existing stage carriage operator<\/p>\n<p>on the route Koottalida &#8211; Kurumpoyil &#8211; Balussery &#8211; Cheekilodu<\/p>\n<p>via Manhapalam, Poonath, Kannadipoyil, Arapeedika and<\/p>\n<p>Nanminda. Timings with respect to his stage carriage No. KL-<\/p>\n<p>13\/J 6965, were settled as per Ext.P1.                      Thereafter the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner has submitted Ext.P2 application for revision of<\/p>\n<p>timings settled as per Ext.P1. The contention of the petitioner<\/p>\n<p>is that on receipt of such an application, the respondent is<\/p>\n<p>bound to take a decision thereon after following procedures<\/p>\n<p>prescribed under Rule 2(12) of the Kerala Motor Vehicle<\/p>\n<p>Rules. However, despite the receipt of Ext.P2 application, no<\/p>\n<p>action has been taken thereon by the respondent, it is<\/p>\n<p>contended.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2. I have heard the learned Government Pleader as well.<\/p>\n<p>The factum of receipt of Ext.P2 application is not disputed.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, the respondent is bound to pass orders on Ext.P2 in<\/p>\n<p>accordance with the provisions as Ext.P2 is an application<\/p>\n<p>WPC.No.27325\/2010<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                               : 2 :<\/span><\/p>\n<p>filed under Rule 145(7) of Kerala Motor Vehicle Rules.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to<\/p>\n<p>the respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P2 in<\/p>\n<p>accordance with law with notice to the petitioner and other<\/p>\n<p>operators who are likely to be affected in case of revision of<\/p>\n<p>timings in respect of the aforesaid stage carriage. This shall<\/p>\n<p>be done within a period of two months from the date of receipt<\/p>\n<p>of a copy of this judgment.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                         Sd\/-\n<\/p>\n<p>                                   (C.T.
