SIRI JAGAN, J.\n              - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -\n                  W.P.(C)No. 2073 of 2011\n              - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -\n          Dated this the 7th day of February, 2011\n\n                        J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>     The petitioners are Junior Public Health Nurses in the<\/p>\n<p>Health Service Department of the Government of Kerala.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to starting regular service, they had provisional<\/p>\n<p>service. By orders of this court that provisional service was<\/p>\n<p>counted for the purpose of granting increments.                The<\/p>\n<p>petitioners&#8217; grievance in this writ petition is that the<\/p>\n<p>provisional service is not being counted for grant of higher<\/p>\n<p>grades.   Seeking this relief the petitioners have filed<\/p>\n<p>Exts.P5 &amp; P6 representations before the 1st respondent.<\/p>\n<p>The petitioners seek a direction to the 1st respondent to<\/p>\n<p>consider and pass orders on Exts.P5 &amp; P6 as expeditiously<\/p>\n<p>as possible.\n<\/p>\n<p>     Having heard the learned Government Pleader also,<\/p>\n<p>I dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the<\/p>\n<p>1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Exts.P5 &amp; P6<\/p>\n<p>as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of<\/p>\n<p>W.P.(C)No. 2073 of 2011<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                            -2-<\/span><\/p>\n<p>three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of<\/p>\n<p>this judgment, after affording an opportunity of being<\/p>\n<p>heard to the petitioners.\n<\/p>\n<p>                                                    Sd\/-\n<\/p>\n<p>\n                                              S.
